INSPIRE’s New Mexico PreK Program provides a high-quality, developmentally appropriate environment for children aged 3-5. In alignment with the state’s PreK guidelines, we emphasize bilingual learning, social-emotional development, and school readiness through a play-based, child-centered curriculum. Our PreK teachers guide children in collaborative projects and encourage them to explore their natural curiosity through thoughtful interactions with materials, peers, and educators. We are committed to ensuring that each child is prepared for their next educational journey while celebrating the unique culture of our community.
Both the Reggio Philosophy and NM Pre K approaches recognize the child as capable, curious, and competent, emphasizing hands-on, experiential learning that encourages children to explore their interests, make choices, and take an active role in their educational journey. At INSPIRE, we co-create a curriculum that meets NM PreK’s structured focus on language, literacy, math, science, and social-emotional development, while maintaining the flexibility and child-centered learning.
Our classrooms reflect both NM PreK’s emphasis on developmentally appropriate environments and the Reggio Emilia belief in the environment as the “third teacher.” We use open-ended and natural materials to create a space that fosters inquiry, independence, and collaboration. Our play-based, project-oriented approach allows children to engage in meaningful learning experiences, co-constructing the curriculum with their teachers to explore emerging interests while meeting key developmental goals.
At INSPIRE, we create a nurturing, dynamic environment where children develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep love for learning.
INSPIRE PreK programs are filled on a lottery basis. If there are available spots after the lottery, they will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis from the waitlist.
