INSPIRE’s after-school program for children aged 4-11 years operates at ANANSI Charter School, the Imagine Children’s Museum, and our INSPIRE Taos site. Embracing the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our program focuses on exploration, creativity, and collaborative learning, with transportation provided from schools to the program locations.

Given the limited time, we design a curriculum that maximizes engagement and learning. We create units and projects that span several weeks, allowing children to delve deeply into topics of interest. The curriculum balances structured activities, such as group projects and academic support, with free play, fostering both creative expression and social development.

Our program integrates children’s interests and feedback, ensuring that activities remain relevant and motivating. Teachers use observations to tailor experiences that support social-emotional growth and intellectual development. By blending structured and exploratory activities, we offer a meaningful and enriching after-school experience.

Bilingual education in English and Spanish reflects our diverse community and enriches the learning environment. INSPIRE’s after-school program extends the learning day, building confidence and a love of learning in a supportive, engaging setting.

Ages: 4 years old - 11 years old. Consideration is given to individual child’s level of development, as well as needs of families and program.
